Handcrafted Old Yak Bone 108 Mala with Vajra Pendant
Handcrafted Old Yak Bone 108 Mala with Vajra Pendant
Our 108 Mala Beads is crafted from high-quality old yak bone. These beads, sourced from naturally aged yak bones, are rich in natural oils and display unique variations in color and texture, making each mala distinct. The natural odor, characteristic of genuine yak bone, gradually fades over time.
This mala includes a Citipati pendant, camel bone dice, and other traditional accessories. Designed for meditation, this 108 Mala combines traditional craftsmanship with authentic materials, providing a meaningful connection to Tibetan heritage.
- Mala Beads: Old Yak Bone
- Citipati Pendant: Old Cypress Pine
- Vajra: Camel Bone
- Main Beads: 12mm in diameter, strung on thick cotton thread.
- Process: Handmade (Up to three days)
- Package: Eco-friendly envelope
Please note: While this mala is durable, it is recommended to avoid exposure to water and chemical products to preserve its natural beauty.
Although this mala contains 108 beads, it is designed to be worn as a bracelet, preferably wrapped twice around the wrist.
Our old yak bone is not the one that has been used for a long time in meditation but is selected from mature yak bones (more than seven years old), placed in a shady environment, and moisturized with vinegar oil to prevent cracking. We then wait for the beads to naturally oxidize and form a protective layer, choosing high-quality materials that are not yet fully oxidized or cracked and threading them into beads.
Tibetan Traditional Elements:
